She is currently the Senior Director and Head of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Laparoscopic Surgery Unit 1 at BLK-Max Super Speciality Hospital, New Delhi. She completed her MBBS in 1980, followed by MD/MS in 1984, and additional qualifications in DGO and FCPS from Bombay. Dr. Kansal has extensive training in Laparoscopic Robotic Surgery from Harvard Medical, Boston, USA. She has performed over 11,000 successful minimally invasive Gynae surgeries and is a Director at the FOGSI recognized training centre in Advanced Laparoscopic & Hysteroscopic Surgery at BLK-Max.
